Our 2019 Open Day, in conjunction with the Boyne Valley Food Series and National Heritage Week, is back on Saturday, August 17th!

With regular talks from our Chief Miller, James Tallon, you'll learn about the history of our little family-run watermill, about how important fish like the eel was to millers up until the late 60s and about the importance of wholemeal flour and local produce.

Between 2pm and 4pm, there will be live bread-baking demonstrations from Gerry Meade, a local chef and food consultant.

You can still tour the mill, learn about our waterwheel and relax with a cup of tea.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, August 17th
Time: 11am - 5pm
Where: Martry Mill, of course!
