Summer Bread Baking Experience

The summer is the best time to visit Martry Mill as it’s bright and the mill is warm(er).

We will open on selected Saturdays for our bread baking experience, which includes tea/coffee/cordial, bread tasting, talk, tour, milling demonstration, Q&A and a baking class using freshly stoneground wholewheat flour to make 1 loaf of brown bread to take home per person.

We will hold a Bread Baking Experience during July and August; dates are TBC. This event will start at 3pm and will require advance booking. Your ticket will include:

  • Tea, coffee & bread tasting
  • Talk about milling and the history of Martry Mill
  • Mill tour and demonstration
  • Bread baking class – bring home your own loaf of freshly baked brown bread!
  • A complimentary 2kg bag of Martry Mill wholemeal flour, with thanks to FBD Insurance.

There will be two types of tickets available:

  • Adults: €20
  • Children aged 4-18: €10
  • Children under 4 are FREE.
